Rob Lewis
eGaming Compliance Officer
Rob joined Affinity in July 2022 as eGaming Compliance Officer. Rob is responsible for monitoring regulation in egaming across multiple jurisdictions. In doing this, Rob will analyse our position in the sector, keep up with regulatory changes or developments and highlight opportunities in the sector.
Rob also works with our Head of Group Compliance to ensure the company’s practices are compliant to the highest standard by working on relevant compliance policies and procedures.
As for Rob’s background, he spent 19 years with the Isle of Man Constabulary, which also involved working within the Economic Crime Unit. He thereafter joined the Isle of Man Regulator, the Gambling Supervision Commission as an Inspector, this involved him processing and inspecting licence applications.
Rob has achieved many accredited qualifications to support his expertise including, the ICA Certificate in Money laundering and Risk in Betting and Gaming. He also holds a ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
In Rob’s personal time, he enjoys keeping fit and listening to music and podcasts. He has a passion for travelling and often visits the West Coast of the U.S, he also enjoys most US sports. Rob also has two children which he loves spending time with.
