Melanie joined Affinity Group in the Cayman office in December 2021 with 20 years of experience in the offshore business sector.  Prior to working in company management, she spent five years with a Cayman Islands law firm and two years as a Senior Trust and Company Administrator with a Cayman Islands bank.

As a Consultant, Melanie who is a Notary Public for the Cayman Islands assists with our Cayman client portfolio., providing expert advice across the corporate and maritime sectors.

Raised in Grand Cayman and educated in Holland and England, Melanie has served on the National Trust Council as a General Elected Member since 2019 and is a Member of the Planning Appeals Tribunal, Cayman Islands.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys time on the water with her family sailing, snorkeling and walking along the beach.  She especially enjoys Cayman’s natural wildlife and her garden is a safe haven for an array of water birds which includes a flock of West Indian whistling ducks.
