Meet the team: Yedhu Jagannathan

What is your role at Affinity?

As a qualified accountant, my role is to oversee the accounting / finance function for the Group and to establish accounting policies and procedures applicable to the Group and the client entities.

What aspects do you love about your job and the company?

The company is young, dynamic and growing and there are varied opportunities to develop with the company. With the company being young and keen to cultivate an environment where everyone has a say, I think there is something each team member can bring to the table which is very valuable. I love the fact that my job gives me the opportunity to utilise my experience over years from the worlds of auditing / alternative investments / corporate banking.

Can you tell us about your career so far and how long you’ve been at Affinity?

Overall I would like to think I have had a fantastic career with opportunity to travel across the world, meet new people and enjoy / appreciate diversity at its best. I have been with Affinity since June 2019 and I have enjoyed my role in Affinity which has given me something to learn on a daily basis.

Can you tell us a little more about your life at home?

I am an avid walker and love to spend time with friends.

What are your interests and hobbies?

I like to walk. I enjoy a bit of travelling whenever I can. When it comes to travel, my bucket list includes a train journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing and visit every possible castle in Scotland.

Finally, can you tell us something that not many people know?

While it has been acknowledged that I am noisy, talkative, annoying (I disagree with all three 🙂 ) and adorable at the same time, I think I am intensely introverted and can be deeply spiritual.
