Meet the Team: Kurt Grech

What sector do you work in and have you any thoughts to share about the industry right now?

I am currently working in the private wealth sector. It is intriguing for me to see how the sector is evolving and growing with each year that passes, whilst maintaining stability and order.

What led you to this career and how has it progressed so far?

What led me to this role was the opportunity to improve and expand my skillset in accounting. It will help me develop as a person, by working in a fast-paced environment and growing industry.

What do you do Affinity?

My role is at Affinity is Assistant Client Accounts Administrator, which involves me helping out the
accounts team. My responsibilities are tasks such as filing, forming VAT packs, printing and maintaining invoices.

What are skills are you currently working on?

The current skills I’m working on are adaptability and being flexible with managing deadlines.

What aspects do you love about your job and the company?

The things that I love about my job is the dynamic team that we have and that everyday I am learning
something new.

What is your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

It would be either playing video games or reading a book.

What are your passions outside of work?

I enjoy reading, gaming and like to keep fit by going to the gym.

Finally, what is something you have done but will never do again?

Well it is hard to say as I’m the type of person who doesn’t believe in regrets or what ifs. I mostly
try and do anything I set my mind to do.
