Meet the Team: Holly Campbell

What does your day-day role at Affinity involve?
My Role at Affinity is Assistant Client Administrator for the Yachting and E-Gaming Team, this involves me assisting both teams with the day-to-day administrative tasks.
What led you to this career?
I have only recently started at Affinity, just 2 months ago, at my previous place of employment I was working in client services, but when I applied to Affinity for a role in Yachting / E-Gaming it was an exciting change. Since joining the team I have found a great interest in all things yachting and I am looking forward to learning more as my career progresses.
What skills are you currently working on?
The main skill I am focusing on at the moment is learning the key fundamentals of what I need to know to do my job well and what tasks I am needed to do on a day-to-day basis.
What’s your go-to tea or coffee order?
I don’t tend to drink tea or coffee, but if I am really cold I love a tea with 1 sugar, but I also love herbal teas if I am feeling unwell!
What is the best thing about being part of the Affinity team?
I really enjoy being part of the Affinity team, as a new member of staff everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and part of the team. The office environment is very positive and everyone in the team get along well, inside and outside of working hours.
Favourite Social /or Wellness Committee event so far?
There haven’t been any social events since I started, but there is one lined up in April that I am excited for!
Something you saw recently that made you smile?
A TikTok of a baby bunny eating a strawberry – it is the cutest thing I have ever seen.
What is your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
I like to spend time with my family and boyfriend or go to the pub with my friends!
If you could add one thing to the Affinity office, what would it be?
This is a hard one because I like the office and I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, it’s a nice and bright open space. I also think the 4th-floor kitchen with games etc. for staff is great and it gives staff some downtime throughout lunchtime with their colleagues.
