Meet the Team: Fraser Monk
In this meet the team article, we hear from Fraser, our Assistant Client Administrator in the Isle of Man.
Fraser is a hardworking and dedicated individual who takes pride in providing excellent service to Affinity’s clients. His positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond make him a valuable asset to the team.
What does your day-day role at Affinity involve?
I perform office handling e.g. generating additional user forms for bank apps, filing, assisting with licence applications, retrieving weekly bank statements for compliance, etc.
What led you to this career?
I worked for my uncle as an assistant administrator and worked for him for multiple summer holidays. As such, I have ended up in an administrative role again.
What skills are you currently working on?
I am working on my administrative skills regarding eGaming, such as what goes into a licence application and the process of what occurs after the licence application. I am hoping to start studying for an ICSA or STEP qualification at some point this year.
What’s your go-to tea or coffee order?
I like Darjeeling tea will a small amount of milk and sugar, but I normally have water as a habit since having braces.
What is the best thing about being part of the Affinity team?
Everyone is really friendly, and there is always new work, so it is never boring.
What has been your favourite social or Wellness Committee event so far?
Definitely the laser blast/bowling event during the first week of Easter.
What have you seen recently that has made you smile?
A video of a pizza delivery man helping cops stop a guy on the run while in the middle of a delivery.
What is your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Going to the gym and then reading web novels such as ‘Lord of the Mysteries’ or ‘Kingdom’s Bloodline’ which I picked up recently.
If you could add one thing to the Affinity office, what would it be?
It would be great if more healthy snacks were available in the office, to save a trip to the shops.
