What sector do you work in and have you any thoughts to share about the industry right now?
I am currently working in the accountancy sector, most accountants are responsible for a wide range of finance-related tasks, either for individual clients or for larger businesses.
Please tell us what led you to this career and how has it has progressed so far?
What led me into this career is the concepts of the accounts. I love the process of it and so far I love every second of it.
How is your day at Affinity and what do you do?
My job title is a Client Accounts Administrator. What I basically do is I input the invoices in our system, create the VAT detail reports, update the bank accounts and other than that I print and scan the invoices, documents etc.
Are there any skills you are currently working on?
I have been given multiple tasks and making sure that I will get them done before the dead lines.
What aspects do you love about your job and the company?
What I love about working at Affinity is that we form an amazing team and that I’m always learning something new.
Can you tell us your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
I have a passion for football, I train every single day and it’s my way to unwind after a busy day. I also love yachts and in fact have one of my own. I hope I will get my marine license by next summer.
Do you have any passions outside of work?
Football, movies, gym.
Finally, what is something you have done but will never do again?
Fortunately I don’t have regrets. I don’t regret anything I did if I was happy at that moment.
